Therapy is a journey that leads to self-discovery, support, and transformation. Anyone who makes the decision or has thoughts of reaching out for help has already taken the first step of creating positive changes in one’s life. There will be challenges in the therapeutic journey, however, those challenges can be faced head-on when one feels ready to do so. There are common stigmas associated with therapy such as misunderstanding and judgment. I believe in breaking those stigmas and ensuring clients that seeking therapy is a strength within itself. I am passionate about creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable and open to reveal what they want to share in their sessions.

I am a clinical intern at Hunter College pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am committed to applying my growing skills and knowledge to aid clients manage life’s challenges. While I am in the initial phase of my counseling journey, I am dedicated to my ongoing learning and professional development. Under the supervision of mental health professionals, I aim to collaborate, empower, and support clients in their mental health and well-being. I am looking forward to building meaningful therapeutic connections with current and future clients.

When I switch off therapist mode, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. About once a month, my family members would come together for a book club meeting to discuss our thoughts and feelings on the book we read. I spend my time walking, playing, and providing love and attention to my Yorkie Terrier, Chucky.
