“The mind is everything, what you think you become"

I am a NYS licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my bachelor’s in psychology at Pace University and received my Masters in Counseling at The City College of New York. I have experience working in non-profit agencies, eating disorder clinics, psychiatric emergency and other group practice settings. My work in the community has helped me gain insight and knowledge about underserved populations as well as barriers to treatment. I have extensive training in trauma, more specifically inner child healing and those who have been affected by family members with complex mental health disorders. I also specialize in anxiety, personality disorders and grief counseling.

When I’m not in session I enjoying jogging, yoga, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

I chose to become a therapist because I am amazed at the healing process through human connection. As complex beings, I am left in awe at the strength and resilience each individual possesses. I believe that despite difficulties faced, we have the power to rewrite out own story and live to our fullest most authentic selves. Our work together will not only aid you in overcoming any difficulties you may be facing but help understand patterns to develop tools that can be used in everyday life.

I aim to provide a healing space through compassion, support and acceptance. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory. However I often utilize different tools from different modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma informed care and inner child healing.

I hope I have the opportunity to hear from you and help you achieve your greater self.
